I had a problem with this error message on two projects; one was when I was tracking a guitar player and the other was an edm track. For the edm track I had the cpu doing too much and the remedy was to freeze some tracks and then off I went. The other was more squirrely and in the end I moved my cpu from one side of my desk to the other turned down the guitar amp a tad same room recording and never got the message again after getting it every few seconds when recording.

I've been just as angry and frustrated as you are in your post, with several different "professional" DAWs at various times. But there is no DAW that doesn't have problems every bit as bad as this; they're just in different areas. DannyKing, RAM is not the cure for this because these are not legitimate error messages. These are happening to people who are using very powerful computers, with very simple projects.
But not everyone - just a few people at random. I've been lucky so far; somehow I've escaped the problem even though I have a near-identical configuration to some of those affected!
